4. Miles

Mile is a programme bonus unit. Miles are accrued to the Member’s account. Miles can be used for the purposes explicitly stated in the terms and conditions or in the UTair’s (STATUS) communication media. No bonus miles under other programmes may be converted into STATUS miles, unless Programme STATUS has reached an agreement with the other programmes. Miles and accounts are non-transferable for the third parties, they can’t be bequeathed, sold and turned into cash.

STATUS and Award miles are accrual to the Programme Member’s account.

STATUS miles – miles, which can be used only for receiving or confirmation Premium or VIP levels in the Programme (miles for UTair and UTair Express’s flights).

Award miles – miles are earned by the Programme Member according to the Programme Terms and Conditions (for Utair and Aviation Partners’ flights, Programme Partner’s services, etc). Award miles can be used only for receiving awards and they are not taken into account when qualifying for the VIP and Premium levels.

Awards receiving doesn’t influence to calculation of the STATUS miles for receiving or confirmation Premium or VIP levels.

Any mileage not redeemed within 36 months of the date of accrual (date of flight, start of hotel stay, time of car rental) expires at the end of the following quarter, failing other arrangements published in the STATUS media. First miles cancellation will be in June 2013. Attention will be drawn in good time to the date and extent of the lapsed mileage in the Programme STATUS account information or in the Member’s Customer Self Service.

An Award Programme Member is fully responsible for payment of applicable airport charges and/or other taxes and duties imposed by other state authorities with regard to air transportation, agency charges for booking, change or return the Award, as well as any other taxes and charges, collected according to the Programme STATUS terms and conditions.
