What Membership types are there in the Program?
There are three membership types in the program, these are STATUS, STATUS-Family and STATUS-Business. While choosing a membership type please study the detailed Program Rules.How can I become a member of the STATUS / STATUS-FAMILY / STATUS-BUSINESS Program?

To become a member of the STATUS program you should register in the STATUS program.

To become a member of Status-Family program you should fill in an Application for Membership in STATUS-Family Program.

Only one account may be opened for one program type. If any duplicate accounts have been found out all the accounts apart from the first one as well as duplicate miles on these accounts will be cancelled without notification. You may not take part in both STATUS and STATUS-Family programs at the same time.
Who may become a member of STATUS / STATUS-FAMILY / STATUS-BUSINESS Program? How many people may do so?
Any passenger who has reached the age of 14 may become a member of STATUS program. Members of a family being not less than two but not more than seven may become members of STATUS-Family program. A member of the Member Family who has reached the age of 18 may become the Member Family account holder. A Company stated in the application may become a member of STATUS-Business program. A list of the Company employees may not include persons under the age of 18. The number of STATUS-Business Program members is not limited.
May a company become a member of STATUS program?
For a company to take part in STATUS incentive program for frequently travelling passengers there is a corporate type of membership, Status-Business. STATUS-Business program rules are available in the Program Rules section.
Is it possible to take part in several types of the program at the same time?
You may not take part in both STATUS and STATUS-Family programs at the same time. It is possible to be a member of either STATUS and STATUS-Business programs or STATUS-Family and STATUS-Business programs.May the list of the Family / the Company be updated? How often may it be done?

Members may be added to the Member Family list or any member of the Member Family may be replaced on the basis of the Account holder’s application at most once in six month starting from the date of change. One may be excluded from the Member Family list on the basis of the Account holder’s / family member’s application without any time constraints. To do this you need to fill in an Application for Change in Members of STATUS-Family Program or Leaving of Family Account Request.

The Member Company employees may be added on the basis of the Account holder’s application. If any employee has been dismissed the Account holder is to notify the airline of the change of the list within 30 days by filling in a Letter on Change of the Company Employees’ List.
What is to be done if the address, the telephone number or the surname changes?
If the address, the telephone number or the surname changes an Application for Change of Personal Informationis to be filled in. The information on you will be updated and further used to get in touch with you.Where can I take a PIN and a login when I fill on an application for the membership online on the website?
A PIN (a combination of letters and figures), an access code (a combination of figures) and a login are entered by the member at will and are further on used to obtain the information the program account state, to view and to change personal information in your Personal Web Account as well as to have awards issued by means of UTair website.
What is a temporary card needed for?
A temporary card is made for the individual type of the Status membership only. It is only used for the initial accrual of miles and does not give right to receive the Program awards.
When do I get a permanent card?
A plastic card is sent to members to their addresses stated in the course of registration for the program within 6 to 8 weeks after the registration in the STATUS Program Support Center.
I filled in the Application several months ago. What shall I do if I have not received a permanent card?
After you have registered your application a plastic card will be issued for you and sent to the address stated in the application.
If you have not received the card at the end of a 4-moths period from the date of filling in the application you should send a request by email to status@utair.ru, stating ‘Status card not received’ in the message title and your full name, temporary card number (if any) and email address in the message body.
How can I learn / get my PIN?
A member gets a PIN (personal identification number) to obtain the information on the program account state, to view and to change personal information in your Personal Web Account as well as to have awards issued by means of UTair website.
In the course of online registration for the program the PIN is created by the member at will.
In Status-Family / Status-Business programs the PIN is sent to the email address stated in the course of registration for the program. In STATUS-Family / STATUS-Business a PIN is only given to an Account Holder.
How can I recover a lost card?
A lost card recovery is a paid service. To do this you should fill in an Application for Card Replacement. A fee for the new card issue is 150 rubles if you obtain the card from UTair agency. When your card duplicate is sent to your address a commission of 500 miles is charged.
What shall I do if I have forgotten the PIN?
If a member is trying to check the status of his or her account on the airline website but cannot remember his or her PIN he can request a new one on the website or send a request to status@utair.ru stating’PIN’ in the message title and the member’s full name, card number and email address in the message body. In such case a new PIN will be sent to the member’s email stated in his or her personal information.
Where can I obtain a STATUS program membership card from if I have registered on the site?
After you have registered an application for a STATUS program membership through the airline website a plastic card will be issue for you and sent to the address stated in the application within 4 to 6 weeks.
Where and how can I learn how many miles there are on the account?
A member may check his or her account state by applying to the Airline Call Center by telephone 8-800-100-08-08 or on his or her Personal Web Account on the program website by entering his or her login / his or her membership card number and PIN.
If I am a member of STATUS program and want to change for STATUS-FAMILY how can I do this and will the miles be transferred from one account to another one?
If you are currently the Status program member and wish to change for the Status-Family program you should use all the accrued miles on your individual account for the awards issue, fill in an Application for Account Closing.
After your individual account has been closed you may be included in the list of the Status-Family members on the basis of an Application for Change in STATUS-Family Program Members.
According to the program rules a closed account and its details are not restored, no money or other compensation is provided and no Miles are transferred from one account to another one.
We have added a person on the list of the family and have ordered the card duplicate but the card. Why have we received the card that contains a 13-digit number though the previous number was different (a 16-digit one)?
Due to the fact the program rules were changed starting 01.04.2010 new cards are issued with 13-digit numbers. The miles are accrued both on 16-digit cards and on 13-digit ones.
How a blocked account may be released? Do I need a new PIN?
If while trying to check the account state from your Personal Web Account you have entered a wrong PIN-account 5 times your account will be blocked. From the time the account is blocked you may not review your details in your personal web-account on the website but may have awards issued in UTair agencies or agencies that signed a cooperation agreement within the program.
To release the account you should send a request by email to status@utair.ru stating ‘The account is blocked’ in the message title and the member’s full name, card number and email address in the message body. In this case a new PIN will be sent to the email address you have stated.
When will the miles be accrued for the flight?
The miles for the member’s flight will be automatically accrued 30 days before the flight date provided that the Status card number is presented in the course of booking in the agency, in the course of registration and when the card number is entered in the course of ticket processing on the website www.utair.ru.
What is needed for the miles to be automatically accrued on my account?
Miles are automatically accrued on a member’s account if the member announces his or her STATUS membership number and/or shows his or her card giving the right for accrual off the moles (entry of the card number in the relevant field when processing an airline ticket on the website www.utair.ru, when booking a ticket in the agency, checking in for a flight or in the hotel etc).
The period of the automatic accrual of the miles for travelling with UTair flight is up to 30 days from the flight date and for the Program Partners’ services it is a period of up to 10 days of the month following the one, during which such services have been provided.
What does the number of the miles accrued depends on?
The number of the miles accrued for flights depends on the distance between the points of departure and destination stated in the ticket, an announced minimum number of miles or fixed rates published in mass media of STATUS program as well as of the type and the level of membership in the program. The number of miles shall be multiplied by the booking class ratio in accordance with the paid booking class stated in the ticket. The miles are accrued on the basis of the Program Policies. Otherwise an announced minimum number of miles is accrued or the fixed rates apply.
How many miles will be accrued for the flight on a certain booking class to a certain destination?
The miles are accrued on the basis of the Program Policies.
Where can I get information on the number of miles accrued?
You may get the information on the number of miles accrued from the Program Policies or by contacting the airline Call Center by telephone 8-800-100-08-08.
May I recover the miles for the flight made if I did not show the membership card in the course of booking / ticket issuance and at the registration line?
Miles for flights that have not been accrued automatically may be accrued on the member’s account within 12 months after the relevant service was used. For this you need to fill in an Application for Recovery of Unaccounted Flights.
I have bought a ticket but I have not made a flight yet. When will the miles be accrued?
To have the miles accrued you need to actually make a flight. The miles are accrued only for the flights made within 30 days from the service date.
How long will the miles be valid?
The miles not used during 36 months from the service date (flight date, initial date of stay at the hotel, car rental date) are cancelled at the end of the following quarter unless other conditions published in STATUS mass media, prevail.The first cancellation of miles will be in June 2013.
How will children of the age from 2 to 12 accrue miles within STATUS-Family program?
Children of the age from 2 to 12 included in the list of STATUS-Family members will accrue miles for flights within STATUS-Family Program in the amount of 50 percent of the total miles accrued for the grown-up member of the family.
Which account will the miles be accrued on if I am a member of the two STATUS Program types at the same time?
If you take part in several program types at the same time miles will only be accrued to one of the accounts. Miles will be accrued on the account, the card number of which is presented in the course of booking or service processing.May the flights made before the initial program membership date be taken into account and what shall I do for this?
- Members of the individual Status program type may recover miles for flights made 3 months before the account opening date. The miles are accrued by STATUS Program Support Center on the basis of an Application for Recovery of Unaccounted Flights.
- In STATUS-Family / STATUS-Business Programs miles are only accrued for the services used by a family member / a company employee on the day following the date of application registration in the program.
Will miles be accrued for the flight, during which I have filled in the application for the Program membership?
The miles for the flight, during which you have filled in an application for the individual Status program membership may be recovered on the basis of an Application for Recovery of Unaccounted Flights.
What are status miles and what is their difference from award miles? May the miles be spent and will it influence miles calculation when getting to a higher level?
In the program both status and award miles may be accrued on the member’s account. Status miles are the miles that are only used to confirm the Premium/VIP membership level in the program. Status miles are only valid during the calendar year when they are received.
Award miles are the miles that you may use to obtain award flights, higher service class and partners’ awards. You may receive award miles for travelling with UTair and partner airlines’ flights, for program partners’ services etc. Award miles may only be spent to get awards and are not taken into account when you are qualified for the level. Their use does not affect miles calculation when getting to a higher level.
Why have zero miles been accrued for the flight?
Zero miles are accrued for the tickets got for the program miles, for free tickets and tickets provided under special rates.
Why have zero miles been accrued for the flight though the ticket was obtained in the booking class, for which miles are accrued?
In the ‘ACCOUNT STATE’ Section of the personal web-account a member may see 0 award miles for the flight. That means the following - such flight does not participate in miles accrual under the program in accordance with the program rules thought an entry on it is made; miles for the flight have been accrued on another account, the holder of which is the passenger and the card number of which was presented in the course of booking or ticket purchasing.
Why are different numbers of miles accrued for flights made to one and the same point of destination?
The number of miles accrued for flights depends on the paid booking class, under which the airline ticket has been bought. The miles are accrued on the basis of the Program Policies. Otherwise an announced minimum number of miles is accrued or the fixed rates apply.
Will the miles be accrued on my account if I purchase tickets for another person?
Miles may only be accrued on an individual STATUS membership account for the flights made personally by him or her regardless of the fact who has paid for the airline ticket. Miles accrued on Status-Family / Status-Business account for the flights made by the members on the list.How shall I use the miles accrued?
Having enough miles on the account, with a plastic Status card and an identification document members may receive awards (issuance of an award ticket or obtaining of a higher service class on a UTair or UTair Express flight of their choice) in the agencies.
STATUS Program also offers its members an opportunity to use miles for Airline Partners’ services.
A member should order a partner’s award service in advance according to the service booking procedure established by the partner. When booking the program partner’s award service the member should notify of his or her intention to use Status program miles accrued for award issuance. The partner’s award service is processed by the Status Program Support Center. The program partners’ award receiving procedure shall be published in the mass media of the Status award program.
How many miles are needed for issue of the award in the direction and service class of interest?
The number of the award miles that is needed to pay for the award ticket are available from the Program Policies. Award miles are withdrawn from the member’s account in the course of booking.

an Account Holder may have award tickets issued under STATUS-BUSINESS Program with the Account Holder card and his or her passport on the basis of a Letter on Issue of the Award under STATUS-Business Program.
Who may use the award apart from me?
If you are a member of an individual Status Program you may have the award issued for another person, whether he or she is a member of the program or not.
An Account holder may have award tickets issued only in favor of a member of the Program Member Family.
Award tickets under STATUS-Business Program may be used for the award issue either for an employee of the Program Member Company or for any other person stated in the Letter on Issue of the Award under STATUS-Business Program.
May miles from two different accounts be combined or transferred from one account to another one?
Miles from two different accounts may not be combined or transferred from one account to another one.
If the miles on the account are not enough to issue an award may I pay the remaining amount in cash?
An award may only be issued if there are enough miles on the account. Payment of the remaining amount is not permitted.
May I have an award ticket issued under a temporary card / without the plastic card if it is lost?
A temporary card is used only for an initial miles accrual and does not give a right to receive the program awards.
How long is an award ticket valid?
An award ticket is valid during 12 month from the issue date.
Where can I have an award ticket issued and get a higher service level?
An award ticket may be issued and a higher service level may be obtained in UTair agencies or agencies that signed a cooperation agreement within the program.
Is the cost of the award for a child of the age of 2 to 12 equal from a family, an individual and a corporate account?
In STATUS Program an award ticket for children of the age of two to twelve costs 100 percent of miles.
In STATUS-Family Program an award ticket for children of the age of two to twelve included in the member list costs 50 percent of a grown-up family member’s ticket cost.
In STATUS-Business Program an award ticket for children of the age of two to twelve costs 100 percent of miles.
Will any additional costs be charged in the course of an award ticket issue / upgrading of a service class as an award?
On issue of an award ticket / upgrade of a service class as an award the following costs may be charged additionally –
an airport charge, state and other taxes and levies announced in booking systems;
agency fees for booking, exchange or return of the award as well as any other taxes and levies charged with regard to the application for STATUS Program.
During which period of time will the miles be returned to the account for an unused award ticket / higher service class?
Miles for the unused award ticket / the awarded higher service class will be automatically returned to the member’s account when the ticket is returned before the flight departure.
If the ticket is returned after the flight departure miles for the unused award ticket / the awarded higher service class will be returned to the account on the basis of an Application for Return of Miles for the Unused Ticket within 30 days from the date of application after the award return.
How many miles and in what period of time is necessary to earn to upgrade on Premium or VIP level in STATUS Program?
If STATUS Program member or STATUS-Family member earns more then 30 000 STATUS miles during one calendar year, the member upgrades to Premium level; more then 60 000 STATUS miles during one calendar year, the member upgrades to VIP level.
The member will stay on the elite level till the end of January of the following year.
How will the privileged level card be sent to me?
A new (silver or gold) card valid for 1 year will be issued to Program members that have reached Premium or VIP levels. The card will be sent to the address stated in the member’s personal information.
If I travel with another airline may I use business lounge services if I have a privileged level card?
A privileged level member may use business lounge services only if he or she travels with UTair Aviation or UTair Express flights. This service will not be provided for the flights of other airlines.
May I be registered in the business lounge on the basis of STATUS-PREMIUM Card without a voucher?
A Premium level member may use a business lounge while travelling with UTair and UTair Express flights only if he or she has a valid plastic card of a relevant level and a business lounge voucher.
May I hand over a voucher to my accompanying person if I am not traveling with this flight?
A Premium level member may only use a voucher for the accompanying person if the latter is flying with the same flight as the Premium level member.
When can I have my service level upgraded on board a plane?
Only VIP level card holders may have a privilege of having their service class upgraded on board an aircraft. If there are places available in the comfort / business class a flight attendant is to inform you of the conditions of this service, fill in a special form and offer you a place in the compartment of the class you have chosen. The miles for the class upgrade will be withdrawn from your account.
